VISION
We see a world in which cheetahs live and flourish in co-existence with people and the environment.

MISSION
To be an internationally recognised centre of excellence in research and education on cheetahs and their eco-systems, working with all stakeholders to achieve best practice in the conservation and management of the world's cheetah.

AIMS

  • Research: to provide scientific support for conservation acitivities;
  • education: to raise awareness of the plight of the cheetah and society's role in its long-term survival; and
  • conservation: to assure the survival of the cheetah.

ACTIVITIES

  • Scientific research (biomedical, ecological, behavioural, human wildlife conflict);
  • education (centre-based and outreach, training, workshops); and
  • conservation (conferences, networking, new income generation initiatives).
