MISSION
To assist government in the national and regional monitoring and sustainable management of water resources.

AIMS

• To support sustainable water resource management with the collection, storage and dissemination of aquatic ecosystem data;
• to develop internal expertise on environmental aspects of Namibia's aquatic ecosystems;
• to provide information and advice on wetland values and threats to promote water awareness at all levels; and
• to monitor, control and offer advice on aquatic problem species.
