MISSION
Operating from its two skills-training centres in Windhoek and Ondangwa, Kayek attempts to provide young people with relevant, pratical and marketable expertise that will enable them to become independent, motivated and productive members of their communities.

ACTIVITIES
Programmes for in-school youth include:

  • international Youth Award;
  • lifeskills training;
  • sport, skills, community service; and
  • environmental and adventure projects.

SPECIAL NOTE
Special emphasis is placed on competency-based vacational training (for those who have left school), and the self development of school children through the International Youth Award.
