AIMS

• To promote the application of meteorology to aviation, marine operations, water resources, agriculture, health, energy, the environment and all other needy sectors of the national economy; and
• to provide an informed and effective scientific voice for meteorology and associated environmental sciences within the framework of the World Meteorological Organisation and other regional and international organisations.

ACTIVITIES
Promoting climate-related multidisciplinary interactions at national level, including research in applied climatology, climate-induced societal vulnerability , climate change and variability and the attendant climate impacts.
