The SPCA is a haven for stray domestic animals.

It has solid policies for the practice of euthanasia and the adoption/ rehoming of animals.

ACTIVITIES

  • Targets people who cannot afford to pay the full rates for spaying and neutering of their pets (particularly in the case of felines, this process guards against genetic pollution of the African wild cat); and
  • offers the opportunity for volunteer work, where you learn to work with animals, develop skills while exploring the field of animal care and meet people with similar interests.
