VISION
To be the empowering agent for women in Namibia to play their rightful role in society with regard to:

  • the financial and economic power-base of the country;
  • decision-making at all levels of government;
  • participation in the democratic process of the country; and
  • self-reliance and freedom of personal choices, personal growth and human dignity.

ACTIVITIES

  • Training in needlework, cooking, gardening, brick-making, bread baking, poultry farming, pottery, oil-pressing, production of environmentally friendly linen shopping bags and the production of paper bricks to curb deforestation;
  • training and establishment of `Saving Clubs'; and
  • socio-political empowerment of women through the establishment of `Women's Voice' bodies.

FOCUS GROUPS
Rural women. Presently active in six regions: Omusati, Hardap, Kunene, Erongo, Otjozondjupa, Omaheke.
