Launch of the Namibia Forestry Facility Programme
The Namibia Nature Foundation and Directorate of Forestry through the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations launched the Namibia Forestry Facility Programme on 7th February 2006. The event took place at the Government Office Parks Auditorium in Windhoek.
The FAO made funds available to the Namibia in support of the National Forest Programme Facility, which aims at implementing the forestry strategic plan in Namibia with support from the Directorate of Forestry.
The National Forest Programme Facility is administered/facilitated by the Namibia Nature Foundation and implemented by the Directorate of Forestry in close collaboration.
