Every River craft component promotion
Craft is one of the ways in which basin residents from Angola, Botswana and Namibia draw economic benefits from their natural resources. These riparian countries have collaborated to manage shared natural resources and found ways in which rural craft makers can share expertise to improve the quality and diversity of their work, find markets, get good prices and thus reduce poverty.
The Every River Project team from the participating riparian states provides technical support to help build these skills needed by the craft producers. These skills include:
- Craft quality and diversity
- Resource harvesting and management techniques
- Resource cultivation
- Craft grading and marketing
- Financial management
