Free Giveaways at the Namibia Nature Foundation
The Namibia Animal Rehabilitation, Research & Education Centre (NARREC) do an excellent job of animal/bird rehabilitation and environmental education. NARREC has produced some of the best environmental education materials in Namibia and distribute them throughout the country to young people in school, vets, farmers and wildlife practitioners as well as to the general public.
With the support of Go Green Funding from Nedbank, which is managed by the NNF, 10,000 posters and accompanying booklets have been reprinted. These are Owls of Namibia, Large Birds of Prey and Parrots and Lovebirds in Namibia. The demand was such that a reprint had to be done. These popular posters can be collected from the NNF offices in Windhoek (booklets still to be printed) while stocks last.
