Corporate membership form
The mission of the Namibia Nature Foundation is to promote sustainable development, the conservation of biological diversity and natural ecosystems, and the wise and ethical use of natural resources in Namibia. The NNF works in partnership with a wide range of organisations, including government, NGOs, the private sector and international donors.
Our most valued and important long-term funding partners - and those with the greatest stake in, and commitment to, the Namibian environment - are the Namibian based companies and businesses. The NNF relies on the support of these financial partners in order to achieve its mission and to ensure our Namibian heritage for the years to come.
The NNF Corporate Membership Programme provides institutional support to the Foundation. These funds are used in a catalytic way: to develop proposals, raise international funding for large, long-term projects, manage and administer projects, support key implementing agencies, raise awareness and provide institutional stability.
The Corporate membership programme makes provision for your choice of support, from N$500 upwards. Membership is on an annual basis.

Project Support
You may be interested in supporting and linking your name to a project. Project support can be provided to field-based activities in many different priority fields and areas of the country. Projects range in size from a few thousand to many millions of dollars. Their areas of interest include: monitoring and protection of endangered species and habitats; community-based natural resource management and eco-tourism; pollution and clean-up initiatives; environmental information; education and awareness; combating of desertification; environmental law; policy and natural resource economics. There are always many more good projects and keen people to tackle environmental challenges than there is funding available.
It is our experience that small to medium-sized projects cumulatively have a great impact, reach more people and are more cost-effective than very large projects. For this reason we are promoting two categories of projects amongst our Namibian private sector partners:
- a Micro Projects Fund (projects under N$10,000)
- a Small Projects Fund (projects of N$10,000-N$50,000)
Your contribution will be used to support projects via these funds. You might also like to choose the field of investment that best serves your interest. Please write in the level of your contribution in the form against your environmental field of interest.
The NNF undertakes to keep you well informed of project progress by means of progress and final reports, and to assist with the organisation of media coverage of your support.
