Okavango River: Flow of a Lifeline describes the birth, passage and ending of the Okavango River system. It is a publication for the Every River Has Its People Project that aims to promote sound planning and management of the Okavango River Basin in support of the mandate and activities of the Permanent Okavango River Basin Commission (OKACOM). The book was funded by SIDA, and supported by the Kalahari Conservation society, Namibia Nature Foundation and the Harry Oppenheimer Okavango Research Centre. [2004]
